Something I built · AI-assisted build

This website

giovanniperri.com, built from written briefs with Claude Code, with a private staging site and my approval before anything goes live.

The company

When I retired my old brand, I needed a new site that explained what I do and made it easy to book a call. I wrote the positioning, the page plan and the design rules into files first. Then Claude Code built the site from them.

The brief

  • Explain the offer clearly, with every price on the page.
  • Make booking a call the main action on every page.
  • Keep it fast, private by default and easy to change.

What I did

Briefs first, code second

Each part of the work had its own written brief: positioning and prices, the page plan, the design system and the build rules. Separate Claude chats took the roles of strategist, designer and builder, and worked from the same files.

Two gates on every change

Every change goes to a private staging site behind a password. I check it there, and only then does it go to the live site. The same two steps apply to a new blog post, a new page or a change of prices.

Privacy and the legal basics

The cookie banner offers Reject as clearly as Accept, and nothing is tracked before it is answered. The privacy, cookie and terms pages read their facts from one file, so they never contradict each other.

Easy to change

Every price, package line and button label lives in one file. When I reshaped my offer into an Audit, a Build and Run, the whole site changed in a day.

What came of it

Figures belong to this engagement and this client. Nothing here is an average or a benchmark, and no number appears without the work behind it described above.

What I took from it

The brief did most of the work. Clear written decisions made the AI fast, and the two approval gates kept it safe.
