Qured

Analytics rebuilt first, then a weekly CRO programme aimed at the booking funnel.

Qured website, above the fold

qured.com, as it looks today.

The company

At-home health testing, sold direct to consumers and to employers. The booking flow was the whole business, and it was leaking at every step.

The brief

  • Work out where the booking funnel was actually losing people.
  • Then run a weekly experiment programme against it.

What I did

Nothing was optimised until it was measured

The first job was a trustworthy funnel. Events named and agreed in writing, implemented with the developers, then audited against real traffic before anybody looked at a chart.

Find the step, not the page

With the funnel instrumented properly the drop-off stopped being a guess. Once you can see which step loses people, the list of things worth testing gets short and obvious.

A weekly rhythm, not a quarterly project

Experiments ran continuously against session-to-booking and session-to-lead, each closed off when it reached significance and written up — including the ones that lost.

What came of it

Results.

+247%conversion rate, session to booking
+186%conversion rate, session to lead
+421%lead volume from the same programme

Figures belong to this engagement and this client. Nothing here is an average or a benchmark, and no number appears without the work behind it described above.

What I took from it

Three numbers moved because one thing changed first: everybody finally agreed what a booking was, and the data said the same thing to everyone who opened it.

If I am not the right fit I will say so on the call, and tell you who is.
